Sick of Spam? Here's the best - 99% effective way to stop Spammers in their tracks. SpamArrest uses a verification system where when an email is received, a verification is sent back to the sender. A human needs to respond (just 1 time) to get on the authorized sender list. Then their email gets sent to you. Spammers send millions of emails and get thousands of bounces, they don't have time to hand respond to the verification email. Most don't even use a real email anyway. My spam count went from 100+ everyday to ZERO. It's like getting an extra 10 minutes everyday!! It doesn't sound like much, but it's so darn satisfying to know that all that Jumk Mail is routed to never-never-land where it belongs. Email me at jim@sharptelco.com to see the verification message and let me know if you have any questions.
We are pleased to announce the SharpTelco.Com Newsletter. Phone Service evolution (or more appropriately revolution!) has seen
changes in the last several years that have made shopping for telecommunication
services very challenging for the average consumer. Notice I said
telecommunication services, not just dial tone or plain old
telephone service (POTS). As consumers we are faced with an enormous
array of both providers and services. SharpTelco.Com is here to help guide you
through the process and aid your selection of the best products and services to
fit your needs and budget.
We have assembled an impressive selection of
telco carriers for all your voice and data needs. For POTS or plain old
telephone service, the big guys (Verizon, SBC, BellSouth) are hard to beat for
basic dial tone. They have been providing dial tone for many years and a
POTS line is reliable and affordable for local calls. Any calling
features added on the line will certainly increase the price of that line, but
will also make it more useful to the consumer. There are several options for
just the basic POTS Line too. In many areas other Competitive Local
Exchange Carriers (CLEC's) will provide your basic dial tone
typically bundled with several other features. If you are the type of person
that likes the added convenience of multiple calling features CLEC's can be a
great alternative.
As you step through the web pages here, you'll see
that I have made an attempt to break down the plethora of communications
services into bite sizes pieces and provide information about each type
service in an effort to help you, the consumer make the best decision for your
personal needs.
I've been "kickin' around" Telecom for better than 20
years and still learning as I go, so please don't hesitate to ask any questions.
I may not know the answer, but I can sure find it and make a recommendation.
Thanks! Jim
